В тот день я наполнил 56 пробирок с тремя разными жидкостями. Получается около 200 движений пипетками, около 60 из которых пришлось сменить. Всё это заняло 4.5 часов в лаборатории!

The city met us with a strange weather: it was raining for the first two days, and on the third you couldn't see top floors of the buildings because of the fog:

Nevertheless, I've explored Atlanta well, and out of 7 points of interest I visited only 3 were somehow remarkable:

the Oakland Cemetery:

The tiny house where Coca-Cola was first bottled:

and old buildings in the Downtown:

There was also a colorful neighborhood around M. L. King historical site, but the ladies I was going with were a little too afraid to stop and take pictures, unfortunately.

By the way, about neighborhoods: it's funny how shameless the homeless people are there in Atlanta. The first night I went out on my excursion, 7 homeless guys one by one approached me and told me the stories of their lives; each of them ended with the words "have some change".

Overall, the city itself was pretty boring.

But the Science of Sephora training was fascinating. I never knew you could do so much with makeup!

Over 30 people from all over U.S. were studying together, closely interacting with each other. There were so many great personalities in that room!

And well, I got eyeshadowed too.
